Renee tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively: ‘It felt good’ to close the door and start dating again — and now her ex approves of love life because he has no other choice!
Mob Wives star Renee Graziano‘s had enough with her ex-huband Junior Pagan walking in and out of her life. So during the June 19 episode, she packed his stuff up for good and kicked him out. And now Renee tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she feels stronger than ever and that she’s even started dating again!
“It was the first time that I realized that I was strong enough to make a decision like that on my own,” Renee admits. “Closing the door — it didn’t feel hard, it felt good. It’s so good to let go.”
Renee was at the point of no return with Junior. “I was very disappointed and disgusted that once again I allowed someone to walk in and take what didn’t belong to them, which is my heart,” she explains.
And Junior knew that Renee meant it when she left him a voicemail telling him to pick up his stuff. “He didn’t respond,” says Renee. “I think he kept his tail between his legs because he never responded. He called my son and picked up the stuff. He knew that there was nothing he could say that was going to make me change my mind.”
“It means freedom,” adds Renee. “It’s actually freedom for my own son as well because he’s free from his mother feeling that loneliness inside. So AJ‘s really happy about me moving on.”
“I was proud of her,” AJ agrees. “I was happy that she finally moved on. She’s growing up.”
Renee’s even started dating again already! “I’ve gone on a date — I actually went out with him Friday night,” she gushes. “It went smoothly. I had dinner with his mom yesterday [June 19] as well. He’s amazing.”
In fact Renee even has he ex’s approval to see the new guy that she describes as an former professional football player who’s now a lucrative business man. “He met Junior and I the same day 17 years ago and then Junior and I left each other 12 years ago,” says Renee. “I’ve always liked him and he’d never go out with me because of Junior and finally Junior spoke to him last week and said it’s fine with him if him and I went out together. We are friends, it’s nothing more than that just now. [But] it feels nice.”
“I’m not going to let my feelings for Junior control the rest of my life,” Renee acknowledges. “Strong women get up and take care of what they have to. They don’t lie down and die. They survive. There’s life after a broken heart.”
