Justin Bieber is going to make a special appearance at the BET Awards this Sunday! Will Selena Gomez show up too?

Justin Bieber wasn’t on the original tip sheet, but US Weekly is reporting the 17-year-old rockstar will indeed make an appearance at the 2011 BET Awards in Los Angeles June 26.

Last year, Justin was nominated for the first time at the BET Awards under the Best New Artist category. Although he wasn’t nominated this year, he will be joining previously announced performers such as Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys and more.

As much as we’d love a repeat of Justin and his girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s cute banter at the MuchMusic Awards, we doubt Selena, 18, will make a surprise appearance at the BET Awards since she’s slated to be doing her Monte Carlo mall tour in Illinois that same day.

The BET Awards will air live at 6 pm June 26.
