Did Ian hit up the ‘Vampire Diaries’ wardrobe for ideas before heading to the MMVAs?
Ian Somerhalder showed up to the 2011 MuchMusic Awards looking dapper-as-ever — but did anyone else think his ensemble looked a little familiar? Between his unbuttoned shirt, his goofy suspenders, and his ‘I really do care, but I hope it isn’t obvious’ hair, he was a dead ringer for his Vampire Diaries character, Damon Salvatore.
Unlike proper Damon from 1864, however, present-day Ian wasn’t really feeling both suspenders at once, opting instead for a one-suspender-at-a-time situation.
But hey, I’d probably start to slack off too after 147 years.
(Side note: Much of the credit on this spotting goes to my buddy Robyn Ross, over at TV Guide. … What, did you really expect me to come up with a fashion-related post all by myself?)
