16-Year-Old Pageant Bride's Mother Speaks Out: She Supports Daughter's Marriage To A 51-Year-Old Actor!

Courtney Alexis Stodden’s mom offers TMI about her daughter and new son-in-law!

16-year-old Courtney Alexis Stodden has made headlines by getting married to 51-year-old Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison, and now her mother is speaking out — and she couldn’t be more proud!

Krista Stodden thinks the union is totally perfect, she tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“We are totally supportive of this marriage,” she says. “Doug is a wonderful man and we love him.”

She then went on to shower her daughter with plenty of pseudo-creepy compliments.

“They are very much in love and we are so supportive of this,” Krista says. “Courtney was a virgin when she married Doug. She is a good Christian girl. She is a beautiful girl. She has real breasts, real lips, she’s not plastic.”

And by the way, these two aren’t breaking the law with their marriage! “Shockingly it is legal,” says top NYC divorce attorney Vikki Ziegler. “However generally you must have one parent or a legal guardian be present at the ceremony or a notarized document for the individual who is 16-years-old to get a marriage license. If you’re under 16, marriage can only be authorized under a court order. If the parents refuse to sign or give their permission then perhaps a court would intervene. Courts unless there is a crime alleged or committed generally do not step in.”

We hope this couple has a happy marriage, we suppose!

Why is the whole country concerned about the young-ish consensual marriage of a “good Christian girl” yet nobody says a word about the routine practice of arranged (often forced) marriages of even younger girls to much older men in Muslim countries? One of the prophet Muhammed’s wives was only eight years old.

I guess Americans don’t care at all about the suffering of women in the Islamic world, or perhaps we are too scared of the potential violence of their men to express outrage.

Lucia Davis- This article is about this one girl not all marriages from all societies. Yes, there are concerns that other societies marry too young, but I guarantee you would not see a muslim girl dress or act like this teenager does. Why would we care about women in Islamic countries? Number one, that’s completely irrelevant. We are talking about the U.S. Women in that country have no rights. Her mom says her daughter isn’t fake or plastic. I gotta call Bull Sh!t on that statement. Take a close look at her breasts. Take a close look at her face. She’s had more work done to her by the age of 16, if that’s her true age, than most women have done in a lifetime. In my opinion, she’s hella plastic, and work she’s had done doesn’t look good. She does look like a 40 something year old woman who has had work done to make herself look younger, and the work she had done was botched. She had had, had, to have looked better before the work. I’m not trying to be mean. I’m just calling it as I see it.
(Disclaimer) There is nothing wrong with being a 40 something year old woman. I’m in my 40′s and I think women of all ages are beautiful in one way or another. It is also my opinion, that no matter what age a woman happens to be, she looks better naturally, than she does if she’s had work done to her.

This is so bad, isn’t she still considered a minor? Anyhow I never heard of her and that is most likely the reason she married a 51 year old man, to make sure we all hear of her. Her mother’s words are laughable, there was no way in hell this chick was a virgin before marriage, just google her and check out her pictures. You can’t pose like that and have that much sex apeal without having had sex. Oh and the real boob thing, total BS, there are pictures of her with very average size breast and then you see her in more recent pics with monster size chest, no way those grow that big over night. That actor, Doug Hutchison, in the movie, “The Green Mile” is just as creepy today as he is in the movie. Obvious psychological issues if your 51 and you marry a 16 year old, and by the way, she doesn’t look like any 16 year old I’ve ever seen. YUK!

I saw all the other picture she doesn’t even look 16 at all!! She looks like his age maybe like 30 in this picture and yeah she does look kinda fake no offense. I guess thats why it isn’t entirely his fault she looks a lot older than she is, but still wow. He should have backed off when she said she is 16.
