Julia’s version of ‘Snow White’ is coming out with guns blazing — filming has begun and the studio is already advertising for it in magazines! Is Kristen’s version doomed to fail?

The battle of the Snow Whites continues! Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin are all starring in director Rupert Sander’s version Snow White and the Huntsman by Universal. Meanwhile, Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, and Armie Hammer are leading director Tarsem Singh‘s untitled Snow White by Relativity Media. Relativity has already started putting ads in Hollywood trade publications, and principle photography has begun! But what does this mean for Kristen’s version?

Kristen’s version will still get made and will begin filming in a few months. But it might be in danger of getting left behind in the dust since Relativity has a head start.

Universal and Relativity have already battled out the release dates and at least for now, Julia and Lily’s Snow White will come out first on March 16. Meanwhile, the Hunstman script is undergoing rewrites by Hossein Amini and scheduled to start filming in the fall.

Do you think that Relativity’s movie starring Julia, Lily and Armie will outdo Universal’s with Kristen, Chris and Sam before it even has a chance for a fair fight? Let us know your thoughts below!
