Warning to everyone — do not get on the wrong side of either Countess LuAnn or Alex McCord or you may be called “haughty,” “condescending,” “dismissive” or “vile!”
These were just a few of the not-so-flattering names the New York Real Housewives flung at each other at what was supposed to be a “makeup” cappuccino meeting following an ugly blowout in Morocco.
But nooo! Bygones were NOT bygones when LuAnn and Alex refused to back down following their previous set-do over Ramona.
“I can’t even imagine what you have to discuss with me,”Countess announces the moment the wives sit down after some phony air kissing. “It’s none of your business what goes on between me and Ramona,” she tells Alex, who was STILL upset by LuAnn’s behavior towards Ramona in Morocco. “You embarrassed me and my guests,” she insists.
Alex lashed back at LuAnn: “The way you responded was haughty, dismissive, condescending and vile and if you ever talk to me like that again, I won’t tolerate it.”
But as the women continue to sling insults back and forth, Alex does tolerate it. “If we’re going to be friends, you HAVE to listen to me,” Alex barks.
“I didn’t know it was Alex class and you’re the teacher.”
Alex charges that LuAnn is “delusional,” LuAnn slams Alex’s shoes “well, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes,” (presumably for being on Alex’s feet), Alex retorts, “that is so rude,” and the Countess leaves, telling Alex to “get a life”!
Whoa! Will those two ever be able to even be in the same room together again!
But they weren’t the only Real Housewives who may not be speaking again. Jill Zarin blows up her recently — repaired relationship with Ramona Singer by excluding her from a “focus” group that she invites all the other wives to on her new Shapewear collection, “Skweez Couture.”
Jill tells the other wives who question the cliquey move, that Ramona’s “words can be deadly — I don’t want negativity.” She blames Ramona for her losing a major money-making contract with Kodak.
Meddling troublemaker Alex can’t wait to run to Ramona to tell her that Jill has had a focus group without her. “Jill doesn’t know how to communicate, I’m just sad about it,” responds Ramona. ” I really see her for who she is — she can’t bullshit me.”
Ramona is further incensed when she hears that Jill questioned Sonja Morgan about her bankruptcy at the get-together. “If I was there, I would have slapped her,” she announces. No wonder Jill didn’t invite her.
But Ramona makes sure she hightails it to see sad Sonja who is understandably upset about declaring bankruptcy. “I trusted some of the wrong men after my marriage. I don’t want to lose our home; I’m a wreck,” Sonja cries.
To her credit, Ramona warmly consoles her. “I have full faith in you, you are a special, wonderful person,” she tells her.
Well at least two of New York City’s Real Housewives aren’t at each other’s throats! Stay tuned to these “friends” who should be pictured in the dictionary next to the word “frenemies.” And remember don’t accept invites from the Countess or Alex for cappuccino… EVER!
