'Toddlers & Tiaras' Star Eden Wood Is Stepping Down — Oh No!

At just six-years-old Eden is taking a break from competing in pageants to pursue her music career and new reality show.

Eden Wood is saying goodbye to pageants and hello to Hollywood. The season premiere of Toddlers & Tiaras premiered on June 15 and Eden and Makenzie battled it out for the crown — but her catfighting days are over!

“She is too big for pageants,” Eden’s mom Mickie Wood tells the New York Post. “We are not planning on doing any more. She is all about performing, but it is not about the hair and makeup and the big dresses anymore.”

Honestly, we’re beyond shocked. We knew Eden’s momager had Hollywood in her eyes as soon as she got a taste of the glitz and glamour during the season premiere.

But then again, Eden has been receiving quite a bit of disturbing hate mail — her mother has been getting Facebook messages from people saying things like “go shoot yourself” or “we don’t want your type of American trash.”

So we can see why Eden and her mom may be concerned and would want a break. But to quit pageants for good? What will the tiny toddler pageant world do without her?

But this isn’t the last you’ll see of Eden — she and her family are reporting filming a new reality show called Eden Wood Goes Hollywood.
