Kim Kardashian debuted her new cropped do on ‘The Tonight Show’ and Jay Leno put her engagement ring to the test!

Newly engaged Kim Kardashian stopped by The Tonight Show sporting shorter locks Tuesday night to talk to Jay Leno. There has been recent speculation that Kim’s 20.5 carot ring is fake, so to put an end to the conspiracy theories Jay Leno did the unthinkable to Kim’s ring.

“OMG u will NOT believe what Jay Leno did to my ring tonight on the show!!!! I almost cried! LOL” tweeted the reality starlet after she finished filming.

To put the rumors to rest, Jay decided that the best way to prove if her ring was real was to light it on fire. Diamonds don’t burn, but cubic zirconia will catch flame. Kim seems genuinely nervous when she hands over her massive rock to Leno for his crazy experiment.
