Demi Lovato‘s got a lot on her mind these days. Page Six is reporting that Demi, 18, has called it quits with on-again-off-again boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, 30, because “the age difference meant they were at completely different places in their lives,” according to a source. Meanwhile, the report also claims Demi’s mom, Dianna Hart de la Garza – who supported Demi through her treatment for “emotional and physical” problems — actually checked into rehab to deal with problems of her own.

While it’s not known why Dianna checked into rehab, it’s believed she’s already done with treatment and doing well.

“It has been a tough year for Demi, and her mom has been a constant source of support,” another source reveals. “But fame has also taken its toll on her family. Now [that] Demi is strong again, her mom could take some time to deal with her own issues.”

Poor Demi — it sounds she’s like got a lot going on in her life. But we’re glad that Demi is flying solo to focus on herself for a little while. We can’t wait to hear the music she’s been working on!
