Amber pleaded guilty to two counts of felony domestic battery yesterday, June 9, in an Indiana courtroom for the case involving her assault on boyfriend Gary Shirley last year. But what’s her punishment?
Teen Mom Amber Portwood has already lost custody of her 2-year-old daughter, Leah, but now she could be losing much more. The MTV reality star who was facing up to three years in jail and a $10,000 fine over her caught-on-camera battle with baby daddy Gary Shirley, pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic battery yesterday in an Indiana courtroom. Is she heading to jail?
Luckily, NO! According to E! Online, Amber got off with a slap on the wrist and was placed on two years probation by Judge David Happe in the Madison County court.
“Hope everyone has a great week once again!” Amber tweeted on Tuesday, “And please keep me in your thoughts and prayers for this thursday! And ofcourse always for leah<3″
As part of Amber’s plea deal, her other two charges — a felony count of neglect of a dependent and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery — were dismissed by Judge Happe.
Good news for Amber! Did she get what she deserved?
