What do superstars take on their baby’s playdates? A security detail, if you’re Elton John!
The rocker is accompanied by a team of minders whenever he travels with husband David Furnish, 48, and baby Zachary – even when they’re visiting fellow new dad Neil Patrick Harris and his twins!
Five-month-old Zachary recently hung out with NPH’s eight-month-old twins Gideon & Harper — who were also born to a surrogate mom — and Neil was stunned when pal Elton, 64, brought bodyguards along!
The 37-year-old says during an appearance on The View, “They had a playdate, which was fun! They came to our house in the valley with their security detail! There were men outside with earpieces, while we were inside changing diapers!”
That sounds a bit extreme!
How I Met Your Mother star Neil and his partner David Burtka loved hanging out with the superstar and his baby son — but they worry their lifestyle doesn’t quite match up to Elton’s.
He adds, “There will be playdates, I hope, for some time. I just worry that Elton and David’s son Zachary will look at our twins and and say: “What is this Baby Gap you’re wearing? It’s not Louis Vuitton.”
