MTV’s ‘Skins’ was FULL of drama and controversy — so much that it got yanked off of the air after one season! Are you upset?
After one quick stint in the United States, MTV announced they will not go ahead with shooting a second season of Skins after numerous complaints and lack of advertising. The Americanized adaptation of the UK hit was notorious for graphic material that included drug-laden story lines and exploring homosexuality — are you bummed it’s gone for good?
“Skins is a global television phenomenon that, unfortunately, didn’t connect with a US audience as much as we had hoped,” said MTV in a statement to our sister site Deadline.com.
Some fans are outraged about the show being cancelled so soon. Others are glad to see it go.
So, BFFs, what do you think? Are you upset that Skins has been cancelled? Sound off below!
