After watching Bentley Williams manipulate Ashley Hebert this season on ‘The Bachelorette,’ I’m disgusted to think he might be the next ‘Bachelor!’
Honestly, we watched player Brad Womack crash and burn on The Bachelor for two seasons, so I thought we’d learned our lesson. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. According to a new report, ABC is considering making the evil Bentley Williams the next Bachelor — and if they do that, I’m boycotting the show!
He doesn’t deserve the opportunity. Everyone knows being on The Bachelor opens doors and that gold path shouldn’t be paved for someone who’s mean-spirited.
Bentley’s a fame whore.Ashley Hebert was warned this season on The Bachelorette Bentley only came on the show to promote his business and get camera time.
He’s shallow. Even if Bentley HAD come on The Bachelorette to find love, he didn’t go about finding a significant other in the right way. He said he wasn’t interested in Ashley because she looks like an “ugly duckling,” and he would have preferred Emily Maynard from last seen — aka he only likes small blondes.
He’s a horrible role model. I know this is a bit of a stretch, since many would argue the entire Bachelor concept sets a bad example for society. However, millions of people tune into this prime time hit, so I would like to think we could get someone in that leading position who treats women with respect, instead of objectifying them at every twist and turn.
ABC, I know you’re toying with the idea of making Bentley Williams the next Bachelor. Obviously, it would make for great ratings, which is all you’re after at the end of the day. However, if there’s ANY ounce of decency in your network, you’ll understand why casting this negative person goes against everything for which you claim The Bachelor series stands!
I know there are plenty of attractive, charismatic and interesting guys from which to choose. Find one of them instead!
