Newlyweds Prince William and Kate are on the hunt for a housekeeper, butler, valet and dresser for their new apartment at Kensington Palace
According to the Daily Mail, candidates “must be friendly and patient.” But don’t expect to become William and Kate’s BFFs. “The roles have been described as a ‘balancing act,’ because they combine helping the couple on a personal level, while not becoming too familiar.”
Kate will personally interview candidates for the positions, which she hopes to fill before she and William kick off their North Amercian tour on June 30. She will scrutinize candidates for the “dresser” position, in particular, since an impeccable fashion sense will be required to style Kate!
“The whole place is buzzing with excitement,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “Lots of people will want these prestigious jobs. The royals always like to promote existing staff rather than bring in people from outside.
Adds the source, “This is a golden opportunity for someone to be in at the beginning of William and Kate’s working and domestic lives.”
