The British DJ joins a handful of celebrity guests for a fantastic afternoon meal — this is the place to be in NYC!
DJ Paul Oakenfold stopped by the Italian nightclub and lounge LAVO in NYC on June 5, to spend an afternoon decorated with champagne and implausible Italian cuisine for Rocco Ancarola’s newly-launched “Italian Riviera Sundays”!
DJ Oakenfold, the British sensation whose third studio album Pop Killer is set to be released later this year and includes multi-talented artists Cee-Lo Green, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Matt Goss, joined celebrity guests James Woods and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Ashley Madison, before headlining a special set at the Gansevoort Hotel rooftop.
Woods and his blonde-bombshell counterpart Ashley, best known for her work in the film Miss March, were spotted dancing across the club’s tables as they wined and dined on Italian delicacies. The 64-year-old actor had much to celebrate as post-production for his upcoming film, the re-make of 1971’s Straw Dogs, is near completion.
There’s no doubt that James would have loved to have brought his Straw Dogs co-stars Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgård to Sunday’s meal; the voyeuristic, multi-layered, red-hued lounge is suitable for any clubgoer’s needs!
