Ashley admits in her personal video blog that she doesn’t like to be the one to break someone else’s heart — but Bentley Williams is the one tearing her to pieces with his goodbye, not the other way around!
The hardest part about being the Bachelorette for Ashley Hebert is saying goodbye to the guys on the show. Sweet Ashley admits that she doesn’t want to break anyone’s heart. But so far in the season, it’s not Ashley’s goodbyes that have torn her apart, but the one Bentley Williams gives her when he departs from the show on during the third episode — leaving Ashley completely destroyed and broken.
“I don’t like saying goodbye to people,” Ashley confesses in her personal video blog on Warner Bros Bachelor site. “That’s what I realized — whether there’s a romance there, whether it’s just a friendship, I never like saying goodbye or being the person to cause any type of heartache to anybody. So that was probably the hardest part.”
Bentley, on the other hand, sure as heck doesn’t share a hint of Ashley’s kind feelings. “Ashley looks like an ugly duckling — I’m going to make Ashley cry,” he spits out to the cameras, not in the least bit regretful. He instead seems to enjoy misleading Ashley into thinking that he cares — and then bashing her with disgusting ridicule. His actions only prove that he’s a dirty liar that lacks the tiniest sliver of a heart!
But Ashley moves on past this heartbreak and reportedly finds love with rumored winner J.P. Rosenbaum. On this note, Ashley — who’s on her way to becoming a dentist — shares advice on how to balance a love life and a career.
“The best advice I have for balancing your career and love life is basically exactly that — to balance it,” says Ashley. “Don’t put all of your eggs in either of those baskets. The most important thing is to be open to love. That’s something that I found that I was really closed off to when I was in school. So the biggest thing — life is for living and life is to be enjoyed. It’s important to find somebody to share that with, especially since you have such an exciting career up ahead of you.”
Ashley also admits that she never hesitates from kissing on a first date. “As you can see from the first couple episodes I have no problems kissing on a first date,” she laughs. “I think it’s a good way to test whether or not there’s intimacy between two people and I don’t think too much about it. It’s a good way for people to connect.”
