Ashley’s absence at the awards show seemed odd, but it appears the actress was in San Diego for a friend’s wedding!
Twilight won big at the MTV Movie Awards June 5, but there was one star who was not there to celebrate in the fun — Ashley Greene! Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner got to party the night away with their costars, but Ashley had something far more important to do — attend a friend’s wedding in San Diego!
Ashley tweeted June 6, “I was just a part of the most incredible wedding. Such a beautiful couple.” She previously mentioned what a great time she was having in “SD.” What an amazing friend, putting her pal in front of an awards show.
Ashley will be on hand June 6 for the CFDA Awards where she is expected to be the guest of designer Michael Kors.
