16 And Pregnant teen mom Whitney Purvis‘ mother, April Michelle Purvis, was arrested on June 5 — for meth and pot!
April was pulled over at traffic stop in Rome, Georgia and cops were suspicious when they smelled marijuana, RadarOnline.com reports. She was nabbed for possession, and they later found methamphetamine in her purse.
Meanwhile, Whitney has issued a somewhat cold response to the arrest. “What my mom does, does not effect me,” she tells TMZ. She also says she’s “nothing like her parents” and “I do not want my son to grow up how I did.”
We hope April keeps the drugs away from her new grandchild!

I thought her mom had a baby that was born right before Whitney had her baby. She looks like such white trash in her mug shot.
