‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Recap: Things Get Ugly When The Drinks Start Flying!

One end-of-the-season party equals lots of crazy housewives drama!

The June 5 season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County started with a bang! We all knew it was coming, but Vicki Gunvalson announces she’s officially filed for divorce from Don. The tears come, but Vicki tries to stay strong by deciding to host an annual summer party in her backyard. Clearly when it comes to the OC, the parties — and the drama — must go on!

And boy does the drama get underway at this shindig! It all starts when Tamra Barney arrives at the party — armed with an official legal note to seek some revenge on former OC housewife Jeana Keough! When Tamra confronts her about spreading nasty divorce rumors to the press, Jeana denies it all.

But things really get heated-up when an infuriated Tamra throws her drink in Jeana’s face. This, of course, leads to a domino effect of drink-throwing and name-calling between them until Jeana finally walks out of the party with her entourage.

When the ladies finally come up for air after the crazy mêlée, Gretchen Rossi chimes in about the whole thing. She says it’s difficult to deal with friends constantly talking behind your back — something she’s had to put up with for two years! Tamra calls for a total truce with all the ladies, hoping they can put the past behind them and move forward with their friendships!

In other Housewives news, the tension between Alexis Bellino and Peggy Tanous has been brewing for a while, and it finally comes to a full boil at Vicki’s backyard bash. What starts as a little fight about lips turns into an all-out war between the gal pals over their husbands! The clash ends with a semi-believable truce. But clearly it’s going to take a lot more than that to heal these battle wounds!

Looks like we’ll just have to wait until next season to see how everything gets resolved!

Wow what a little sh#* starter ..does she really believe that we did not see what really happen..hey tamra it was all on tape and u lied and then u got ur loser mom to acoste jeana and so did u.. Wow I can’t wait for the reunion and the entire world to see what a whore u have been on national tv and ur poor kids.. Simon I hope u have custody this woman is a gross old lady..she needs to learn to control her temper…and tamra had the nerve to bad mouth gretchen..wow I hope bravo fires u tamra u are white trash and ur mom is a mere reflection of what you’ll look like in 2 yrs haha tranny tamra haha

Well, I don’t really know this Jeana/Tamra history but seems like it’s toxic and neither of them respect one another, but enjoy agitating. Yet, that’s some example of motherhood, throwing a drink in someone’s face-come on! I think that’s Bravo encouraged drama. Either that, or Tamra is just that mean. If I were Eddie, I’d be thinking about what she’s going to throw at me! The stupid award goes to Alexis. That woman’s children will grow up to be subservient little slaves if that’s how she truly thinks about the role of women! To say that all her attractive friends are with her—could she be more shallow or ignorant? Women can run for President? Yes, Alexis, we can even vote!!! What an awful season behavior-wise!

love vicky and tamra . she tells it like it is. love peggy as well. jeana is a trouble maker . always has been . i think she wanted to hook up with simon . she said she is vicky friend but she talks about her as well and how she was bad to don. jeana need to go back to the playboys house and stick her nose in thier lives and leave my girls alone.tamra might not have handle it right at the party. with the paperwork but i can see her side. i think she has try to change and she has said she was sorry about gretchen but gretchen talh about her as well and she even made a joke about the cow looking like tamra and vicky . so you can’t blame one you have to blame all.

Exactly, Susan Williams, they are all guilty of bad behavior. None portrayed a decent life style who have kids and husbands. These women are all about themselves and who said what, their behavior takes me back to elementary recess fights. None are better than the other and no one ever wins.

Peggy is really a man in a dress, he’s not fooling anybody.
Alexis has no mind of her own, this is the result of low self esteem problems, Momma DID raise a fool. Poor children.
Gretchen keeps tabs in the latest gossip when it comes to Tamra, it’s time Gretchen lets go. The fans grow tired of the same argument, seal it in a coffin and nail it shut.
Slade and Don= Moro_ns for staying in unhealthy relationship based on lies, cheats, opportunist women. Don is only getting what he did to Vicki’s Ex when they first called it quits. Karma mean anything to you, Don? hahahaha
Jeana= Go home and mind your own business, no one cares about Simon the controling freak.

I get what you’re saying for the one’s that are moms, but does a good lifestyle really HAVE to include a man and children? I think it’s fine for a woman to want to live life for herself… or anybody for that matter. But i do agree. Some of these women, especially Tamra and Alexis, really need to watch how they act, because one day (even though it was court-ordered that tamra’s kids can’t watch the show lol) their kids WILL watch the show and they’re more than likely gonna be embarrassed by their moms.

Tamara is such a coward, it was ok for her to talk to the press about what Gretchen was or was not doing, but it is wrong for someone to share their feelings about her situation. Come on it is called karma. And she is such a liar, telling the party guests it was Jeana’ s fault, um you threw a piece of paper and a drink in the woman’s face get it right honey you started, some friend you are.

Tamra is trash. She could have served Jeana with the C&D privately through an attorney or process server. She waits until the cameras are present and in front of people at a party that wasn’t even hers. She throws it in Jeana’s face hitting her (the intent was to hit her in the face not like the dog leash situation that Tamra obviously lied about) and the threw the drink. Then she tells everyone Jeana threw the drink and “tried” to throw her in the pool. Hey, I watched the show…Tamra is a liar. Her mother is pathetic, crying when it was her daughter who started it. Looks staged to me. Again, this could have been handled privately. I guess Tamra is finally getting what is coming to her…she did the same to Gretchen. She acts like a victim. Simon needs to get those kids away from her pending a psych eval. How can Vicki forgive Tamra for this? Vicki has her own issues, and trying to hold it together and Tamra brings this crap to her party. She told Vicki she was going to give her the C&D letter but she didn’t say she was going to physically attack someone at Vicki’s party.

I so agree. Tamra is the villian not the victim. I think she wants the publicity. Love how Gretchen told Tamra this is how she felt when she was sayings things about her. Can’t wait til the reunion.
