They’re two the of the most talented actresses in Hollywood, with a pair of Academy Awards between them — yet they’re considering walking away from it all to be moms!
Are Penelope and Natalie right to put their babies first? Or do they owe it to themselves, and their fans, to stay on our screens?!Pregnant Natalie Portman, 29, hinted she’s thinking of quitting in May when she spoke of her admiration for Audrey Hepburn, who swapped movies for motherhood in her 30s.
‘Black Swan’ star Natalie, who’s due to give birth in June, said, “Audrey made some good choices in life. More and more I realize how unimportant it is to be in the history books or anything like that. Putting time and energy into your children, that’s valuable”
And now new mom Penelope’s thinking about becoming a full-time mom to her four-month-old son Leo. The 37-year-old says, “After years of being a workaholic and always being tired, I’ve changed rhythm and found a more happy equilibrium. I don’t feel guilty when I don’t work now. Before, when I went home to Spain from America, I’d forgotten how to holiday properly – how to lie on the beach and relax. I’d go lock myself in the bathroom with my Blackberry and check for work emails.”
Do you agree with their decision to quit? Or should they try to be working moms?

oh please acting can be ballanced with parenthood look at Eva Marie Saint or Joanne Woodward both ballanced lucrative creers with motherhood for decades. Nat & Pen are both pompous idiots that think their the biggest thing since sliced bread because they have the little golden boy called oscar. but they aren’t it’s supposed to be about craft not awards which Ms Saint & Ms Woodward know well which is why they hd/have long sustained careers and legions of fans.
