Jen and Courteney have a falling out over Courteney’s treatment of ex David Arquette as it is reminding Jen of the way Brad treated her!
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have always been inseparable, but ever since Courteney’s split from husband David Arquette the famous relationship has cooled as Jen feels Courteney is treating David the same way her ex Brad Pitt treated her when he left the actress and started dating Angelina Jolie! US Weekly spoke with an source close to Jen who said she has a major problem with Courteney’s relationship with Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt. “Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with [Brian] but refusing to file divorce papers,” the source explains. Ouch!
Jen was devastated when Brad began dating Angelina immediately after their split, and now she feels Courteney is doing the same thing to David. What’s worse is that David told Howard Stern Courteney was having an “emotional affair” with Brian while they were together, the same claim Brad made about Angelina! “Courteney justifies it by saying she didn’t sleep with Brian before she and David separated, but Brad said that about Angelina,” says the source.
Jen’s rep assures the magazine the two are still “great friends” so this spat will undoubtedly past, but do you think Jen if overreacting HollywoodLifers?

I’ve often wondered why Courtney, by far the more beautiful and talented of the two, allowed herself to be suffocated and manipulated into a corner by her alleged best friend. This is a case of toxic friends, those that pretend to act in your best interest but whose own self esteem issues lead them to deliberately sabotage their friends endeavours.
I don’t think they are no longer friends, more that Courtney has a full life and busy, succesful career while Aniston doesn’t have the same rigorous schedule. Couger Town is a great success, with that came her friendship with one of her co-stars, one Aniston once dated and is now angered that Courtney has been on dates with him, OMG even snapped together on the beach…Aniston is a media creation, no real talent or beauty but her marriage to Pitt, despite it being shortlived has been an enduring meal ticket. When Brad fell in love with Angelina Joli the world’s media went into a collective frenzy, two of the most beautiful people in the world unite, the enigma of Angelina already attracting more media attention than most but combined they are Hollywood’s elite. So Aniston’s PR fuels the stories of a triad, vicariously enabling Aniston to bask in the glow of Brangelina, no need for any reality behind the media propoganda, as long as it sells mags Aniston will continue to be a person of interest for the media. When Brad and Angie decide to move from mainstream acting careers, Aniston will disappear.
In contrast Courtney is a star in her own right and the media attention she receives is based on a genuine interest and respect the public have for a talented, lovely actor. Courtney, do yourself a favour, don’t be conned back into playing second fiddle to a fake, she’s using you, her ego is big enough to keep her afloat.
