Canadian singer Alanis Morissette and rapper husband Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway welcomed their first child, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, on December 25, 2010. Christmas time at the Morissette-Treadway house are going to be a musical blast!
Alanis first came on the music scene in 1991 with her debut album, Alanis. Her career was launched into pop-rock stardom in 1995 with her Grammy Award-winning song, “You Oughta Know.”
Aside from singing career and mommy duties, Alanis has acted in various television shows such as Sex and the City, Nip/Tuck, and Weeds.
Ever Imre will definitely grow up a musically-inclined baby. His mommy recently took time off from working on her new album to record a song for his daddy celebrating the couple’s anniversary. She definitely knows how to put the ‘rock’ in ‘Rock-a-bye Baby!’
