Prince William Ensures Kate Middleton Adjusts To Royalty On Her Own Terms — Even Meeting President Obama!

William’s bucking convention in favor of a happy home with Kate!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are definitely meant for each other, and William is making sure Kate’s happy by ensuring their marriage is not run on the monarchy’s terms!

Many pundits were miffed when the newlyweds met with President Barack Obama and chose not to attend the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace — but attending the formal dinner would have set a precedent of formal behavior they are not interested in upholding, the Daily Mail reports.

“[They did not attend in order to] not to put a strain on Kate, and also to create a helpful precedent; if you don’t turn up for the U.S. President’s dinner, you don’t need to turn up for anyone else’s,” the paper reported.

And despite their new titles as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the couple much prefers quiet life at home, spent making dinner and playing sports.

“After that brief Obama meeting on Tuesday (it is likely that had it been any other head of state, there would have been no meeting at all) they vanished from view once more,” the article read

How considerate of William! Although the overbearing attention is second nature to him, royal procedure must be a new horizon for Kate!

of course like your web site but you need to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will surely come again again.

Kate is a whore. She has always been his paid whore. Watie Katie finally got what she wanted after nine years. She will never be a Princess nor Princess Di. She is sadly on the level of Camila and Fergie. That is why all of these whores hold the title of Dutchess and even that is way too generous of the Queen to bestow upon them. Kate “Fiddleton” is not gorgeous or beautiful. She is the product of plastic surgery. Wills will cheat again and again; just like he did in the past. She is such a sad creature

It’s not Princess Catherine because she isn’t yet the Princess of Wales and she’s not a princess by her own right. She’s just a duchess. Duchess Catherine of Cambridge. She will very likely e Princess of Wales when Charles becomes king.

To the best of my knowledge, neither Prince William nor his new wife have ever attended a formal state banquet. She has accompanied William to bars, rock concerts, weddings & expensive vacations — but not a formal event. It would have been excellent training for Catherine, who will have to attend all manner of formal events in her lifetime. One has to learn the etiquette and how one speaks to other royals & dignitaries, how they walk into the banquet room, how to sit down gracefully, how to speak to the people on either side of you, how to eat gracefully. Catherine doesn’t know any of this. It would have been an excellent way for her to get experience on their own home turf. The Queen should have overruled Prince William & insisted that they attend. If they remain sequestered for too long, watch for the press to turn on them.

The Queen did not have to overrule Prince William because she NEVER invited him!!! He does not attend state dinners so therefore his wife doesn’t. You want to blame someone for the Duke and Duchess not attending, blame the QUEEN!!! Prince William did not refuse to attend because he wasn’t asked to attend.

To Lucy2 you are completely wrong, Kate has been involved with royal duties with William before their married. You need to read other piece of news before you make a statement which is incorrect. And the Queen is letting William & Kate do their thing so that Kate does not end up like Princess Di. The Queen understands what it is like to be married to have your husband in the service. So she is giving the newlyweds the time to adjust. She herself spent the first 2 yrs of married life living with her husband and not doing royal duties. So get your facts straight before yo open your mouth.

They were not even invited to the State dinner so how could they attend!! The Duke and Duchess met with the Obamas because the Pres brought them a wedding gift!! Sheesh!!

They didn’t get invited?! Like anyone would have turned them away? They made it clear that they didn’t want to attend because they don’t want to set a precedence whereby they have to show up at these ‘events’, which is their JOB!

And as for the very lame excuse of not wanting to upstage the Queen, good luck selling that. Duchess Whatever is ok, but she’s no Queen of England, nor a President of the United States. I think we could handle being ‘blinded’ by her attendance.

They were NEVER scheduled to attend this event. It was a STATE dinner and only the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were expected to attend. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were not supposed to even be in London. They met with the President and Mrs Obama to receive their wedding present that is all. All this crap about upstaging the Queen is a fabrication by the press to sell papers. But hey, you want to be gullible and believe everything you read go right ahead.

She’s had 9 years to prepare herself for this; she’s no newbie to Prince William’s life. If she’s too weak to handle the pressure of the JOB and William wants to break away from the monarchy’s formal duties, I agree, renounce the title. The media truly has their blinders on this workshy woman who is no role model for women anywhere, which is do nothing with your education and wait around for a man forever to give you an identity and use the perks but none of the responsibility. It truly is time people started waking up to the fact that this is not a woman of substance. I’m no huge Obama fan, but their visit to London gave KATE a marvelous opportunity to get involved and connected with the types of charitable works that Michelle openly showed in a relaxed and connected way.

Just a quickie – her style is not Princess, it is Duchess. She is styled as HRH Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. She is no longer Catherine Middleton as she is married, and no one that knows her ever called her Kate.

Prince William is doing the correct thing regarding his wife, Princess Catherine. He does not want the samething happening to her as it did to his mother. The press never left Princess Di alone. Give Princess Catherine time and you will see her more in the things she does. It has only been a few weeks since they were married and he is still in the Royal Air Force. The Queen even want’s Princess Catherine to take the few years and get adjusted to the royal life. As did the Queen when she was married, she took the fews years off as will Princess Catherine.

But she’s not really taking a year off is she? She’s going on luxurious honeymoons, spending days in Hollywood attending lavish parties being thrown in her honor by celebrities and media tycoons. It’s totally ludicrous. She’s 30, has never worked and the justification is because she’s been preparing to be a princess. Well, she’s now a princess. So be one. I wish people would take their blinders off and see how ridiculous and what a circus show it all is.

She is NOT a princess. She’s a duchess. That’s bothers me more than Kate. Diana’s name wasn’t ‘Di’, either, but she didn’t go around being pompous about it the way Duchess Do-Little does.

If they want to hide out and spend their days cooking at home, then they should renounce the title, the perks and all the money that goes along with it and become a REAL normal couple. It’s totally ridiculous that they refuse to do any of the royal duties. What else are they except royal? Step up Kate. You’ve never worked a day in your life and are now trying to get by with not even living up to the obligations of being royal….which is not such a burden. It’s not exactly difficult to dress up in pretty clothes, attend dinner with famous people and have people wait on you hand and foot. I used to respect her. Not anymore.

Have you all actually read the tabloid article. It left out some stuff to make Catherine out as the lazy one. The artcle also indicated that they did not want to upstage the queen. So everyone who is being negative toward Catherine should read the article first. I have a lot of respect for Catherine. She is doing the best she can. Plus, William is so very overly protective of her and I think he his preventing Catherine from doing her royal duties.

I so totally agree. I’ve lost what little respect I had for her. The UK doesn’t ask that much of the Royal Family and to sit back and let everybody else carry her weight is disrespectful and lazy as they come. One little dinner is too much for her? WTH? She must be exhausted from the $1M honeymoon and all that shopping. She wants the perks and the fun and none of the real duties that Her Majesty has devoted a lifetime to the people for almost 60 years.

They’re the ones who keep dragging out of the grave and making comparisons, well, Diana started working Day One getting a staff and getting involved in the matters of importance to her own country. She rolled up her sleeves and gave a great amount of time and attention to the issues on her own soil, not flying to California to swan about in frocks and sit by the Bev Hills pool.

Kate needs to get used to the press and the attention. If she thinks it’s bad now, just wait until she does more ”Royal” work things. Just get used to it or get a divorce. Enough said.

Oh please, she is 30 not 3. Workshy as always but want to enjoy all the perks that goes with the role. Please members of the press, stop making Kate out to be some kind of wall flower, clearly she is not, look at her body language. Anyone can see, she has William by the nuts …lol :)
