Authorities in California have FINALLY concluded that the pop superstar wasn’t downing booze and popping pills in the maternity ward after she gave birth to babies Moroccan and Monroe.
Now that the ridiculous saga is over, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon can breathe a huge sigh of relief and get down to the business of raising their twins aka ‘Dem Babies.’
Most new mothers and fathers spend their first few weeks battling breastfeeding and sleepless nights, but Mariah and Nick have had to contend with tabloid leaks and alcohol and drug allegations.
The whole sorry mess started when a nurse suggested Mariah sip on some Guinness to help her produce milk for the twins. Someone in Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center then reported the singer to Child Protective Services, alleging she was high in the maternity ward!
Despite the innocent explanation, LA’s Department of Child and Family Services launched a probe, questioning the star at her bedside and even scheduling an at-home visit to ensure ‘Roc and ‘Roe were not being neglected!
TMZ reports that the visit has taken place and DCFS officials are satisfied the children are in a healthy and safe environment. Phew!
As if that whole saga wasn’t bad enough, someone at the hospital leaked copies of the twins’ birth certificates to the press — infuriating Nick, who Tweeted, “Who ever released my children’s birth certificates need they ass whooped!”
We’re glad the investigation’s over. Now Mariah & Nick can finally enjoy their babies!

No they shouldn’t have been investigated it’s been a known fact for decades that a few ounces of guiness helps a mothers milk come down and her body produce more of it. let them enjoy their precious babies they’ve been through enough to become parents and should sue for emotional destress and probably will.
