The photographer who took Prince William and Kate Middleton’s official engagement photo, Mario Testino, says the shoot was a noisy and fast affair, but he could still see how much the royal couple loves each other!
Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s official engagement portraits seem intimate, quaint and serene, but the royal’s photographer, Mario Testino, said the shoot was anything but that! In fact, it was hectic and there were very few words exchanged between the couple and anyone else.
“You know, it’s not so much what they say to each other because there is no time,” the famous fashion photographer told People. “Everything is compacted into a very short time because we have to produce these pictures. It’s more like me screaming and trying to get everything to go.”
He added, “Well, not screaming, but getting in a fluster, I guess you say.”
Despite their hurried schedule and the high stress of it all, Mario still raved the royal couple reflected nothing but “sheer happiness.”
“They are a young couple in love,” he said.
It’s bizarre to think Kate and William were super stressed out during this now-famous photo session. We never would have been able to tell from the photos — they looks so happy!
