The Kardashian clan is closer than most families, yet sisters Khloe and Kourtney reveal that Kim’s engagement to Kris Humphries left them “totally surprised”!
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries‘s engagement came as quite the shock to the tight-knit Kardashian clan.”We thought we were just going to a family dinner,” Khloe tells Us Weekly. She and Kourtney didn’t have a clue until Kim walked in with her 20.5 carat engagement ring!
Mom Kris Jenner knew beforehand, saying that the other Kris had “shared that with her” in advance. “None of [the rest of] us knew,” Khloe explained. “We were all sitting there like, ‘Kim is so late for dinner and we’re starving.’ And we’re like, ‘Where the hell is Kim?’ Then she walked in, and we’re like, ‘Oh my God!’”
The girls say they are happy for Kim and Kris. “She is always smiling,” said Kourtney, 32. “He grounds her.”
Everyone sounds thrilled about the engagement, and it’s sweet how surprised the whole family was, including Kim! Now they have a fun-filled wedding to plan!
