Kim Kardashian's Engaged To Her Basketball Hunk! Check Out The 20.5 Carat Diamond Ring!

With a romantic proposal and a HUGE rock, Kim K. will be planning an ‘over-the-top’ celebration!

Kim Kardashian is officially off the market! She and her basketball player beau Kris Humphries are engaged and ready for a summer wedding, PEOPLE reports.

So how did the engagement go down? On May 18, Kim, 30, walked into her bedroom at her home in L.A., where Kris, 26, was waiting on bended knee, with “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” written out in red rose petals. And it gets better. He presented her with a dazzler 20.5 carat diamond ring designed by celeb jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Although the couple have been seemingly smitten with each other since they started dating in November, Kim says she wasn’t expecting a proposal. “I never thought it would happen and I never thought now,” Kim tells PEOPLE. “I was in such shock.”

As for the wedding, Kim says, “We want to get married this summer. I’ve always dreamed of a big wedding. I’ll probably do something really over-the-top. Super feminine, but still really modern, chic and cool, but it has to have a lot of heart; it has to be all about family.” Can’t wait, Kim!

I have read alot about how some people do not have nice
remarks about Kim Kardashian and her family as well. I read something about the fact she is a Christian and gives to the Lord’s work (tithing) some folks just plain are trying to judge this girl and her sisters. I enjoy watching the programs (any of the Kardashian programs) and you can say what you will but there is a kind gentleness about her and she has found someone who appears to see the beauty in her as well as her outward beauty. I think she and her husband to be will have a good life together and there doesn’t seem to be anything but sincereity about her. She seems to have a real man this time….she seems tocare about alot of the right things.
I like her and her family. Khloe also has a good head on her and a big heart too. Shehas a colorful mouth on her sometimes but you too can see the heart of her…she genuinely cares about people….and she is very pretty no she is beautiful on the outside as well as inside.
Kourtney also is beautiful hope she and Scott marry soon too and have more beautiful children…

Kim is / has been “honing in” on this guy wanting to get married from when she 1st met him. She “allegedly” has even been jewelry shopping for her (own) enagagement ring IF Kris were to pop the question. Now we will have another spin-off reality like Khloe & Lamar as well as an over the top wedding for “E” channel to present & pay for (when Kim & Kris marry) on the E Network. Soon the 2 youngest (Kylie-13 and Kendall-15 will be getting their own air time)! Mom, Kris is really getting her money’s worth out of her daughters !!! Kris (Jenner) is suchg a fame & money “whore”!

This is sooo ridiculous…I gues money talks and bull…walks…Kris Humphries is the new Scott Discik..This is a win for him , like Scott.. He could use the extra cash…Not to mention, why isn’t anyone talking about how we have seen this ring before…A couple of years ago, tabloids had posted a picture of Kim w/ a similar ring on in car, highlighted as if she and Reggie were getting married?
