With the newly engaged Kim Kardashian joining her sister Khloe Kardashian in the ranks of married women, the question arises: will the classic Kardashian competition make having a baby a race between the two sisters?

Khloe Kardashian wants to have a baby, and she hasn’t made that a secret. In fact, she’s sadly publicly struggled with fertility issues while trying to get pregnant with husband Lamar Odom. Meanwhile, her sister Kim is recently engaged to Kris Humphries and has already talked about having kids with him. Do you think that Kourtney‘s son Mason will have a new cousin soon?

Khloe Kardashian’s famed rush to the altar with husband Lamar Odom in September of 2009 was jaw-dropping. Engaged just one month after they met and married within weeks of the engagement, the wedding sent everyone spinning. Especially Kim, 30, who had recently ended things for good with her on-and-off again hubby of three years, Reggie Bush.

Soon after Khloe’s quickie wedding, older sister Kourtney, 32, had her first baby, son Mason. With one sister a mom and the other a newlywed, Kim found herself more confused than ever.

“I think it was hard for Kim when I got married. It was a wake-up call for her. It wasn’t jealousy as such – it was more, ‘Oh my God, my little sister is getting married.’ I was in a place she wanted to get to. It made her reflect a lot,” said Khloe.

Kim herself has revealed that, “If you were to ask me in high school where I would be at 30, I would have said I’d be a housewife with four kids.”

Now that Khloe has proven that her marriage has some lasting power, and Kim is finally going to have her fairytale wedding, both sisters must have babies on the brain.

Both are doting aunts to nephew Mason, and both have gleefully talked of having kids of their own. Which one will become a Mommy first? Either way, it is sure to be entirely dramatic, Kardashian-style!
