Bradley says it’s so much fun shooting the ‘Hangover’ flicks that he’d love to film a third — do you think that’s a good idea?
Bradley Cooper planted a little seed in our minds … Hangover 3! But before we jump the gun, the sequel to his hit 2009 film The Hangover also starring Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms, hits theaters this Memorial Day weekend and we can tell you it’s just as hilarious as the first. But don’t expect director Todd Phillips‘ drunken saga to end when the credits of crazy pictures roll this weekend — HollywoodLife.com knows that Bangkok may not be their last stop!“I’d love to do a Hangover III,” Bradley told us at the NYC premiere hosted by The Cinema Society & Bing.
And although the sequel is very similar to the first, Bradley wants Hangover fans to understand why they filmed it that way.
“We set it in Bangkok, but we made a very conscious decision to adhere to the structure of the first movie,” Bradley tells us. “Early on we thought it is very important that we give it structure. There’s a ticking clock, a missing night, you see Phil [his character] call Tracy [Sasha Barrese, the bride from the first film] and saying ‘We messed up again’ and I’m so glad we did that.”
The gorgeous and incredibly charming actor went on to say that although you may be able to anticipate the next jaw-dropping moment, you’ll fall in love with your favorite wolfpack all over again!
“Changing it to Bangkok and raising the stakes … it just gets darker and the jokes are different,” Bradley says. “But it really provided us the ability to see these characters get to know each other even more. Which you needed, you couldn’t depart from the structure in the second one.”
