Japan has been hit with some hard times this year and after all the earthquakes and looming radiation damage, Justin Bieber’s backup dancers didn’t want to stop there on tour. So he enticed them with a private jet!
It’s true that Justin’s crew were in a bitter stand-off with the singer about whether or not they would perform in Japan because they worried about the potential health hazards of the radiation leaks. But Justin Bieber was determined to not let his fans in Japan down, so the 17-year-old pop sensation struck a swanky deal with his crew.
“The crew members and dancers who objected going to Japan signed a contract that they would also be allowed on the private jet to get out at the same time for any emergency that would occur,” a source close to Justin said.
Justin traveled to Japan on a private jet because if there were another natural disaster, he would be able to be airlifted out safely. This contract ensured that all the weary crew members would be given the same benefit.
Justin was just thankful his crew finally agreed to come along, no matter what contractual agreements it took for him to get them to the last three shows in Japan. He showed his appreciation by tweeting a message of gratitude on May 18.
Even though disaster didn’t strike while they finished up their tour, the whole crew still jetted back to LA in style. Justin tweeted that they arrived together on May 19.
“Thank you JAPAN. deeply honored to be here. kinda crazy that was the last show…now we are all flying back together. #MYWORLDFAMILY”
We think it’s great that Justin felt so strongly about performing in Japan that he went to such great lengths to get his team on board – even if it took a private jet. Tell us what you think! Was it weird that Justin had to create a contract with luxury benefits in order to get his crew to Japan?
