Michelle Obama’s Hair Drama! Did She Mean To Arrive In Ireland Looking Like The Grinch?

A daring hairstyle inspired by Dr Seuss’ legendary kids creation The Grinch? Or the result of a rogue gust of wind?

First Lady Michelle Obama arrived in Ireland in dramatic fashion on May 23, sporting a wild Grinch-esque coif as she disembarked Air Force One! Michelle, we hope this wasn’t the look you were going for…

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle kicked off a 6-day tour of Europe in the Emerald Isle on Monday.

Michelle managed to tame her mane soon after the First Couple touched the tarmac at Dublin Airport and she was back to her poised best by the time they greeted the thousands-strong crowd who had lined the streets of the Irish capital to catch a glimpse of the U.S.President and his wife.

They even had time to sample some local Guinness before hopping back on the presidential plane for the short flight to England — where the couple have a room waiting at Buckingham Palace.

Let’s hope Michelle can keep her hair under control when she meets the Queen!

I’m sure it was just a strong gust of wind that blew her hair up like that for .237 seconds, and a lucky photographer got the shot, and made a small fortune on it. I’m really sure the first lady styled her hair like that….

Or, you know, there are gale force winds here in Ireland. Maybe that has something to do with it?
