Happy Birthday, Jewel! You're 37 Today, May 23!

It’s a year of new beginnings for the singer, who is expecting her first baby within the next few months!

And it’s a boy! Jewel, who has been trying to get pregnant with her rodeo-riding hubby Ty Murray for a couple of years, is finally getting the baby of her dreams. Now that’s a birthday present!

“It’s just a miracle,” Ty, 41, tells People. “To have achieved our dreams and goals — it’s nice.”

Jewel, who is not only a singer-songwriter, but a guitarist, actress and poet, is ready and eager to become a mom — especially after a scary car accident could have taken her and her unborn child’s life.

“Geez-I didn’t really see the accident I was in til the paper yesterday,” she tweeted about the crash photo back in March. “The fire truck def won. Real sore and banged up-but so glad to be walking around,” she added. “Thankful & blessed.”

We’re so glad she’s OK and can’t wait to hear all about her and Ty’s soon-to-be baby boy! Happy birthday Jewel!
