The ‘Glee Live! In Concert!’ tour started out with a bang in Las Vegas just says before the season finale airs, impressing critics with an energetic show featuring the hit songs from seasons one and two!

Schools out for summer, but the kids at Mckinley High are still working their vocal chords in a concert tour that travels all the way across America! Not even two weeks after shooting the finale in New York City, the cast of Glee kicked off their second concert tour last Saturday March 21 in Las Vegas without a hitch. Find out who were the critics’ favorites!

Critics agree that the stars of the show were newcomer Darren Criss and resident diva Lea Michele, but that the best numbers were the large group hits that showcased the cast’s talent as a team.

“Those were the songs that got everyone in the audience singing and dancing too and allowed some of the show’s best-loved performers — Amber RileyHeather MorrisNaya Rivera and Jenna Ushkowitz — to radiate real star power,” said Mary McNamara from the Los Angeles Times.

Fans of Mr. Shuester and Coach Sylvester won’t be disappointed either, because we heard they make a brief taped appearance even though they are not part of the live show. Critics say the cast powered through an eighty minute set list of all the hits from from the first two seasons and had the audience on their feet and singing along!

We’re glad America’s favorite Glee club is as good live as they are on TV! If any of you Hollywoodlifers have seen the show let us know what you think! Also, will you be tuning in for the big season finale tomorrow?!

It was nice they all had a chance but in the end yes Lea was the star yet again.

And since Lea and Darren are the ones who lead most of the large group ….well then….

What critics? I saw one review – so critic without the s – indexed on Google, namely the one from the LA Times that you quote. Your statement that critics “agreed” that Lea and Criss were the stars of the show makes me wonder if this writer agreed with herself? And she didn’t even say Criss and Lea were the stars. She just said they had two of the great numbers, but NOT the best numbers.
