Arnold Schwarzenegger was missing from his daughter Katherine’s honoree lunch, fortunately Maria was brave enough to make an appearance to support her child!
Amidst all the controversy, Arnold Schwarzenegger should make sure that his family is his number one priority. His 21-year-old daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger was honored yesterday at GirlPower Awards Luncheon but her proud papa was nowhere to be seen.
Fortunately, Maria Shriver put aside amy misgivings at dealing with the media and was there to support her daughter for her accomplishment of writing a book about body image. We know a Girlpower Luncheon isn’t exactly Arnold’s style, but we still think he should have been there to stand by his daughter in her time of celebration.
“I was able to talk to my mom about absolutely everything and that was an amazing gift that I had,” said Katherine in an interview with E! about growing up to be confident in her own skin.
It’s good to know that the Schwarzenegger children have such good heads on their shoulders and a strong mother to lean on to get them through this unfortunate time. We know that Arnold has been there for his children in the past and hope he continues to be a standup father despite his recent indiscretions.
Tell us what you think! Do you think Arnold should have been at his daughter’s award’s luncheon despite his infamous cheating scandal? Do you think he wasn’t there because she asked him not to be? Would you want to have a relationship with your father after he cheated so horribly and publicly on your mother?

Arnold did the right thing. If he attended the event would have been about him not his daughter.
