Hollywoodlife.com has EXCLUSIVE details on the charity event that surprised partygoers with special performances and a silent auction including Alicia Keys VIP concert tickets!

Esteemed rapper and producer Swizz Beatz took some time off from his fatherly functions to host a charity fundraiser at NYC hotspot 1Oak for the Bronx Charter School for the Arts but his wife Alicia Keys was no where in sight!

“Alicia was at home watching their son Egypt but she really wanted to be there,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “But she donated two VIP tickets to her concert which really made the night special.”

The event was pinnacled by a surprise performance between Beatz and R&B diva Estelle.  The electric duo performed hits such as “DJ Play That Beat,” “Dance Like a White Girl,” and were even shadowed onstage by the dancing moves of Gossip  Girl’s Tika Sumpter.

Among Sumpter, guests included singer Shontelle, Mob Wives’s Renee Graziano, and A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed. The celebrities, along with other guests in attendance, were given the opportunity to bid on auction items including an autographed Decoded book from Jay-Z, autographed CD sets from Beyonce, a signed Carmelo Anthony jersey, and the hottest entity of the night, Alicia Keys VIP concert tickets with backstage access.

Beatz’s decision to temporarily take on philanthropy over fathering was a smart one — the event raised over $100,000 for the Bronx Arts’ after-school programs.
