In the wake of his marriage coming to an end and his infidelity becoming public, Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided to take a break from filming any of his projects right now — including ‘The Terminator’ franchise!
Arnold Schwarzenegger famously promised he’d “be back,” but it’s not going to be right away. The 62-year-old Governator’s office released a statement May 19 saying Arnold has decided to step out of the lime light for a bit as he regroups after his infidelity and love child scandal.
“Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines,”a statement from his office said.
“This includes Cry Macho, The Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides.”
Now that Arnold’s time as governor of California had come to an end, we were excited about Terminator 5. However, we understand why he needs space.
His 25-year-marriage to Maria Shriver has crumbled, after she learned he fathered a son (now 14) with their housekeeper of 20 years, Mildred “Patty” Baena.

This is very sad. I’m sorry to hear this. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a terrific actor and seems like a decent guy. I was hoping he would make a triumphant return to movies and do more dramas. It is a shame that his marriage has collapsed. Marriage, in my experience, takes work. A lot of work.
My husband and I are just really open and honest with each other. We tell each other everything that goes on and everything that we’re feeling everyday, and we’re just really there for each other.
I think my husband taught me a lot about inner beauty and confidence in myself. I’m slim but voluptuous. He’s in love with the person inside of me, and the outside of me is just a bonus. I feel better—so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.
