Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart both earned the same amount of money this past year but one of them was ranked ten spots higher than the other on the ‘World’s Most Powerful Celebrities’ list compiled by Forbes.
Twilight‘s power couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have both scored spots on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list this year, where the magazine compiles the “World’s Most Powerful Celebrities” based on factors such as money, TV/radio, press, social, and web. Both Rob and Kristen earned $20 million in May 2010 — May 2011, but one of the actors scored ten spots above the other!
Rob came in at #53 while Kristen scored the 63rd spot. Forbes explained this disparity, “Stewart’s non-Twilight career hasn’t been as successful as her costar Robert Pattinson’s so far. Her 2010 film The Runaways grossed only $4.6 million at the global box office.” Their profile cautions us not to rule Kristen’s career, out of course. “The two-part ‘Breaking Dawn’ should bring her enough money to play around with different roles while looking for her next big hit.”
On the other hand, Rob’s Remember Me earned $56 million and Water for Elephants gave him a blockbuster non-Twilight film to showcase a non-Edward Cullen character.
We have faith that Kristen will continue to wow audiences with her diverse acting talents, and think that both Rob AND Kristen will continue to succeed once their Twilight careers have ended.
That being said, do you agree that Rob is more powerful than Kristen? What do you think of the final results?
