'16 And Pregnant' Recap: Poor Cleondra — Her Baby Daddy Hates Pregnant Women!

This week’s 16 And Pregnant star, Cleondra keeps seeming to be able to work it out with her dead beat baby daddy, but I just don’t have faith in this one lasting.

The May 18 episode of MTV’s 16 And Pregnant introduced us to Cleondra, and she’s the kind of girl that has it all. She’s on the dance team, maintains great grades, and is in a relationship with her boyfriend of two years. Everything in Cleondra’s life was going as perfectly — and then she got knocked up.

Cleondra and her boyfriend Mario originally contemplated an abortion, but decided that wasn’t the right option for them. So that means the young couple’s dreams had to be put on the back burner! Cleondra had to give up her dream of dancing, and Mario could no longer join the army.

Mario started working a ton of hours, and while on the job he talked to his fellow co-worker, who’s 20 with one baby and another on the way. That’s when Mario revealed this little gem: He doesn’t like pregnant women. Yeah…

Cleondra ended up giving birth to a little girl named Kylee Sue, but when they brought the baby home to Cleondra’s family, Mario didn’t stick around long — or at all. Cleondra had to beg him to spend time with his daughter and he argued that it’s hard because they don’t live together. So she gave living together a test run at Mario’s family’s house, and unfortunately, he was of absolutely no assistance while she was there.

At the end of the episode, Cleondra and Mario decided to try to stay together, after she makes a bunch of excuses for his behavior. Maybe after she watches the episode air, she’ll wisen up!

I don’t think he literally hates pregnant women, he was just complaining to a friend about how the hormones made her uber-sensitive and irritable. Nice inflammatory headline though.
