Botox-Injecting Mom Kerry Campbell Loses Custody Of 8-Year-Old Daughter!

Mon, May 16, 2011 2:30pm EDT by 16 Comments

Is this a good thing? After Child Services ran an investigation into the Botox case, 8-year-old Britney was taken away from her mother.

Eight-year-old Britney Campbell, whose mother, Kerry Campbell, admitted to injecting Botox into her face, has been taken out of her home after authorities held an investigation behind the situation. Do you think the state did the right thing?

Good Morning America reported this morning, May 16, that Britney is no longer in the custody of Kerry, who also took it into her own hands to wax her child’s legs — all to prepare for a beauty pageant.

A person with knowledge of the situation told ABC News that Britney, is doing well but did not offer more detail on the ongoing investigation into Kerry.

More information on this situation to come.

Are you satisfed that authorities took Britney out of her home, or should she still be under her mother’s supervision?

I run three pageants that have been recognized by our state as outstanding children pageants. We don’t allow this! We would disqualify them in an instant. Our rules even ask that girls 4, and under to not wear nail polish.
Kids get “boo boos,” and have missing teeth that the “tooth fairy” gives them money for. They need to look like kids! Boo boos, and missing baby teeth in all. :)

Saw this story online, and I didn’t really understand why an 8-year-old would be worried about having wrinkles? It seemed as though her mother was doing it to advance her daughter in pageants and what not. I would never wish a situation like this upon anybody, just seems as though she just made some stupid decisions and hopefully everything works out.

I agree that the girl is to you young for botox and waxing, but does it really mean that she should be taken away from her mother. Yes het mother is stupid, but it doesn’t mean she should be taken away.

I think it was a good decision to take this girl away from her mother. UNTIL she realizes that it’s wrong to inject botox into an 8 year old girl’s face. If she doesn’t realize that, she shouldn’t have her daughter back. She has done enough damage already.

It is an AMAZING decision. This dangerous woman should not raise an innocent child.

This is REDICULOUS~! I am a DJ and have done some beauty pageants, and this is NORMAL! So many kids have gotten botox and waxings – to include a bikini wax for bikinis they wear (Yes little girls wear bikinis) – so IDK why they are focusing on this one kid when 1000’s of kids have the same thing done???

first of all, you spelled ridiculous wrong. secondly, just because it’s fairly normal doesn’t mean it’s right. thirdly, you’re clearly a lowlife douche who enjoys watching young hairless girls walk around in bikinis. creep.

also, “~!” is not correct punctuation under any circumstances. ever.

Alli, you may want to try capitalizing the first letter of sentences. It is always worth practising what you preach; you may get better at it.

here’s the thing: when you know how to type and speak properly, you can start breaking some rules. until then, use spell check and learn how to conduct yourself on the internet. all my grammar and spelling is correct, and i make sure that any lack of capitalization doesn’t affect the message of my essay, not to mention the fact that i’m consistent in my one error. and unless i’m mistaken, i never preached capitalization, oh intelligent one.

and kelsey’s right; you misspelled practicing… which is highly ironic.

Actually, Alli, you’re wrong. If Heidi lives in England, that’s how they spell practiced.

Agree, if you 100%
John, if you see this happening, why don’t you report it! Instead of standing by on the sideline doing nothing! These are children, not adults and they should be treated as children. Let them enjoy being chldren as they’ll have time as an adult to worry about their ‘looks’!

There are lots of people who murder others, does that mean we shouldn’t investigate that either?
