We love seeing the lovely Jennifer Lopez grace contestants with her knowledge and advice every week on ‘American Idol’ and according to our sources she will be returning for next season!
Ever since Paula Abdul left the judges panel on American Idol, there has been a lot of shuffling around to try and reestablish a chemistry that best suits the show. However, the producers may have struck gold with the talented Jennifer Lopez, and will most likely be keeping her on for next season!
“She knows what Idol has given her, but she also knows how to work it to her advantage. She’s been around the block, so to speak before and knows how to negotiate…” said our source.
Jennifer Lopez is allegedly in the works with husband Marc Anthony to develop a Latin American singing competition similar to American Idol. The only reason she has to leave Idol is if her new show gets picked up by a major network. Luckily, our insider is confident she will end up staying because she’s collaborating with the creator of Idol on her new show and the money would be hard to turn down.
“I’d estimate there’s a good 80% – 90% likelihood of her returning as judge next season,” said the source.

Can’t stand her and think it’s stupid if they give her the amount of money she seems to think she is worth to come back – Idol will be in trouble with X Factor and The Voice after the fiasco this year on Idol – the final 3 are good but there were ones that were voted off who are more talented especially when there seemed to be a voting gliche on Jame’s call in number – a lot of people think it’s RIGGED.
