SJP dishes exclusively to HollywoodLife.com about her high hairstyle! Hint: It’s all in the outfit!
Sarah Jessica Parker killed it on the red carpet at the Robin Hood Foundation annual benefit with her towering hair, but the idea for the look had nothing to do with Cheryl Cole! Keep reading to find out what inspired the big bouffant!
The Sex and the City star attended the May 11 New York City Ballet Spring Gala and we caught up with her to ask about her hair-raising do. The star tells HollywoodLife.com that the hairstyle was actually influenced by her dress!
“Well, I was wearing a Halston dress that I really love and it reminded me of a different time,” says SJP, “and so I did, sort of, did my hair in a way that I thought was appropriate for that particular time, that kind of lifestyle.”
The dress happened to be a purple sweater dress from the Halston Heritage Fall 2011 collection and the bright pop of color with the slinky, tight silhouette could not have looked better on her. The gigantic hairstyle was very reminiscent of the 1970′s and the vintage vibe of the dress is a match made in Halston heaven!
Are you surprised by SJP’s hair influence for the benefit?

Why are people thinking she took the look from Cheryl cole? she has her own style. Why does everybody have to be copying Cheryl? they do have their own ideas.
