Leonardo and his supermodel girlfriend have been on and off for six years but a source tells HollywoodLife.com — it’s over for good.
Leonardo DiCaprio is officially on the market – HollywoodLife.com has just spoken to a source close to Leo who confirms the couple really have called it quits.
“It was just time [to break up],” our source tells us. “They care about each other but sometimes you reach a point in a relationship where it’s time for all to move on.”
Bar and Leo were both spotted partying at different NYC hot spots after the Met Ball on May 2, sparking rumors of a split.
Our source adds that no other women caused this break up.
But this isn’t the first time Leo and Bar have parted ways. They broke up in 2009 for six months during which Bar said she “grew up a great deal.” The two reconciled later that year.
A rep for Leonardo DiCaprio said “no comment” when asked about the breakup.
