Krista was brutally killed and dumped in a pond in New Hampshire after an alleged drug deal took place at a nearby house.

20-year-old Krista Dittmeyer‘s body was found last month in a pond near the parking lot of Cranmore Mountain Ski Resort in New Hampsire where her 14-month-old daughter Aliyah was discovered abandoned in her car. Now prosecutors say Krista, an alleged drug dealer, was brutally murdered by three men who wanted to steal her drugs and money. Just terrible.

Anthony Papile, 28, Trevor Ferguson, 23, and Michael Petelis, 28, of New Hampshire, have all been charged with Krista’s murder and robbery.

On April 22, Michael Petelis allegedly lured Krista to his home in Ossipee, New Hampshire, where Anthony Papile is accused of ambushing her and hitting her on the back of the head with a rubber club as she walked up the stairs. That’s when the men allegedly bound her with duct tape and put her into her own car, which they drove to Cranmore Mountain’s car park.

They are then accused of drowning Krista in the pond before leaving her baby daughter Aliyah deserted in the car.

Papile has been charged with second degree murder, while Ferguson and Petelis were both charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

“It’s a great day for law enforcement,” a police spokesman said. “I think it brings some closure (for the Dittmeyer family), but I’m sure they’d rather have different circumstances.”

Krista’s case is being compared to Mary Louise Parker‘s character on Weeds, a suburban mother who becomes a drug dealer to support her family. No one, including her family, ever expected Krista to be dealing drugs.
