Are Alex and Isabelle prepared to face Jennifer and Josh in the ring as the enemies of Katniss and Peeta?
Alexander Ludwig and Isabelle Fuhrman will be joining Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in the upcoming action movie The Hunger Games. Alex will be playing Cato and Isabelle, Clove — the two District 2 tributes!
In the movie, based on the the first book of the series written by Suzanne Collins, Cato and Clove are part of the characters group called the careers pack and the main opponents of star Jennifer’s character Katniss Everdeen and Josh’s Peeta Mellark.
If you read the series, you know what happens and who comes out as the winner of The Hunger Games. But if not, you will have to wait for the film’s release in March of 2012 to find out if Katniss, Peeta, Clove, Cato or another competitor come out as the victors of the games!

I’d like to see Ludwig as Peeta, but only appearance wise, as I’m not too familiar with Ludwig (I’ve only seen Race to Witch Mountain, alongside AnnaSophia Robb).
*Hutcherson doesn’t quite fit the description, though he can give off the “paltry” vibe I get from Peeta. So far I’m impressed with his acting abilities (Bridge to Terabithia comes to mind, also starring with Robb), so I think he’ll do Peeta justice.*
Ludwig seems more “Glitter pretty” than “Cato scary” to me, but what the heck, with a little bulking up and Hollywood [makeup] magic, I’m sure he will make me run for my life :)
