The fabulous HollywoodLife.com staff allowed me to stick Kim K’s two fragrances, Kim Kardashian and Gold, under their sniffers for a staffer smell-off! See which perfume won — by a nose.

We told you about Kim Kardashian‘s first fragrance, we told you about her second, and now it’s time to see which one is the favorite at Hollywoodlife.com!

First, let’s meet the contenders:

Kim’s first fragrance: Kim Kardashian

Notes: Mandarin, honeysuckle, orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose, gardenia, tonka bean, jacaranda wood, vanilla orchid, musk and sandalwood.
Think: Musky floral

Kim’s second fragrance: Limited edition Kim Kardashian Gold

Notes: Grapefruit, pink pepper, bergamot, jasmine, violet, amber, rose, patchouli, sandalwood, and musk.
Think: Citrusy

Seven staffers chose Kim Kardashian as their favorite, meaning eleven chose Kim Kardashian Gold! A win for Gold!

Our staffers were fairly split on the decision. Each person had their own reasons for choosing their favorite Kim K fragrance!

“I liked the Kim Kardashian by Kim Kardashian one because I thought it was the more feminine scent,” our Office Manager Brooke Peoples tells me, “but you cant go wrong with either one.”

“Kim’s Gold fragrance has such a light, clean scent,” says Fashion Editor Katrina Mitzeliotis, “It’s very wearable, especially in the summer! Her signature scent would work better for a big night out — it’s definitely not for everyday.”

Our reporter Chloe says, “I love Kim’s original perfume because it’s stronger and has a thick Gardenia scent, which I love!”
