Kathie Lee, Hoda and correspondent Sara Haines joined in on the fun too as they discussed the newest (and strangest) toy — the breastfeeding doll!

On the Today show with Kathie Lee & Hoda this morning, May 10, the pair decided to discuss something that has us here at HollyBaby.com talking too — the breastfeeding doll! And SNL comedian Andy Samberg got up close and personal with the new toy that has parents all riled up!

Andy, 32, as well as Today correspondent Sara Haines, tested out the Breast Milk Baby, which lets kids experience the  “magic of motherhood.” “I found this little lady backstage and she seemed starving so I’m doing my duty,” Andy tells Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. “She’s hungry!”

The Breast Milk Baby ($89.00) comes complete with a bib for the child to wear that has a flower indicating where the nipple is. If the doll is held up to the flower, it begins making suckling noises and starts to cry if it is not burped after “feeding.” Just plain weird!

“This is so morally unacceptable! Why is/should this be important to a young girl who probably hasn’t yet even started her menstruation? This (toy) is just making the young girls get interested in sex at an even earlier age!” one mom tells Today.

With another adding, “Why would a little girl need to learn how to breast-feed before she has breasts? Before she goes through puberty? This is another disgusting example of forcing adulthood on our children decades before they’re ready to absorb it.”

Andy seemed to have fun with the doll, but will kids? Weigh in!
