'Bethenny Ever After' Finale Recap: Bethenny Sells Skinny Girl (And Makes A Ton Of Money)!

After a season of hysterics, “Bethenny Ever After” comes to an end –with a nice, fat check for the Hoppys!

What a season it’s been! After temper tantrums, dramatic meltdowns and Skating with the Stars drama, Bethenny Frankel finally has something to really smile about! On the May 9 finale of Bethenny Ever After, the reality star gets an offer on her Skinny Girl franchise from one of the top liquor companies in the industry!

After completing a speaking tour around New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware called “Skinny Girl Night Out,” Bethenny receives some good news from her manager explaining that she can sell Skinny Girl for a pretty penny. “The little cocktail that could,” as Bethenny, 40, calls it, can make her a very rich woman.

Throughout the episode, Bethenny and Jason discuss the idea of selling and what the money could do for their family. But, they wait until the very end to decide — leaving us tagging along for the big news!

Another huge moment was when Bethenny confessed that she was ready for baby number two! Her daughter Bryn has her very, very broody — shocker!. “I do want another baby,” she says. “It’s the most special thing in the whole world.”

So between bills and new babies, this nice Skinny Girl check could change her and Jason’s lives, as well as her C.O.C (Coordinator of Chaos), Julie‘s, her assistant Jackie‘s, and of course, nanny Dawa‘s.

After struggling her whole life with the family that abandoned her, Bethenny finally realizes how important it is to have loving parents when she sees the devotion Jason’s parents have to her and Bryn. She may complain about them, but deep down she admits, they’re “awesome.”

In the end, Bethenny makes the choice to sell her company for an un-disclosed price — although we know it’s A LOT. And if timing couldn’t be any better, Bethenny and Jason recieve their wedding album and reflect on their whirlwind of a year.

And so, Bethenny Ever After ends ’till further notice! Will you miss our favorite ex-Real Housewife? I will!

Come back to TV Bethanny, Jason and Bryn. I want to see where you all go from here. It’s alot of fun. I think Jason is a sweetheart, and Bryn is a beautiful miracle from the best of both of you.I know alot of people think Bethanny can be rough on Jason at times, but the great thing is, He Gets IT, he understands, he is there for her and she for him. I love the way they love each other and Bethanny’s humor makes me laugh because I’m from NJ and have heard this type of humor for years from my friends from NYC and NJ. It’s just what it is. Bless you all and Jason’s parents too. I know Bethanny knows what a blessing her in-laws are. I know in-laws can be a bit controlling at times. I don’t think Jason’s parents are that. I believe their wishes come from love of their son and his family. I had in laws that hated me simply because I was educated, so they made stories up that I was stuck up etc. Stupid stuff. It made married life hell. Cherish his parents, they are sweet people. Love the show.

Bethany in my eyes is a very strong person i look up to her. Im really going to miss not seeing her on tv but ill always follow her and read all the books she want to write.

I wouldn’t pick on Bethanny, if you have any understanding of what it’s like to have your parent’s divorce as a small child. Her mother, obviously was more interested in herself verses empowering her young daughter as well as her biological father having nothing to do w/ her after that divorce. There are millions of us that carry that feeling of insecurity, abandonment & trust issues that we carry all through our lives and in relationships w/ other people, especially significant others. Thank goodness, Bethanny is in therapy. Her husband Jason and his parent’s are “heaven sent”. I hope she will slowly let her guard down and allow these wonderful people to love and care for her.

I feel sorry for Bethenny’s husband. She cuts him up into pieces especially his parents. I don’t know why she got her own show. maybe so people can see how crazy she is. She looks like a corpse from Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride. Though that movie was really good and sad! Bethenny is not sad but pathetic.
