Whitney Houston Checks Into Out-Patient Rehab For Drug & Alcohol Addiction

We really thought Whitney had turned things around, but her rep tells us that she voluntarily checked herself in.

We’re pulling for Whitney Houston! HollywoodLife.com has just confirmed that the Grammy-Award winning artist is in an undisclosed out-patient rehab facility for her life-long struggle with drug and alcohol addictions.

“Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” her rep Jill Fritzo tells us. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”

But Whitney, 47, is able to come and go as she pleases as long as she’s with a sober companion. Whitney and her daughter Bobbi Kristina, 18, were just spotted at a Prince concert and appeared to be having a good time. Whitney is also about to begin work on a new film.

Whitney and her ex-husband Bobby Brown ended their 14-year-marriage in 2006.

I think i speak for us all when i say whitney will truely never be forgotten she is a role model in my eyes she stands for african women and the struggles that comes along with life never did she waiver or forget where she came from or where she was trying to go!!! she was a prime example of what happens in alot of homes she came from a good family strong values and great support system but sometimes that has nothing to do with how life turns out for us………….. we love you mrs. houston although your gone you will neverrrr be forgotten

SHE WAS A KIND LADY WITH A WONDERFUL LOVELY VOICE; BUT SHE STILL HAD TO FIGHT THE DEMONS HERE ON EARTH…. AND GOD FINALLY BROUGHT HER HOME TO REST. LIVING IN HEAVEN WILL BE EASIER FOR HER THAN HERE ON EARTH; AND HER VOICE WILL LIVE ON HERE ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN. SHES WITH THE ANGELS NOW. I PRAY FOR HER DAUGHTER. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER WHITNEY HOUSTON. SHE MADE ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT LIFE. AND HAPPY WITH HER SONGS WHEN SHE SANG.

Whitney is one of the few celebs we feel for. She is so unbelievably talented – that voice!!!! Puts everyone currently on the charts to shame. Feel so bad for her. Really wish she can finally be rid of her demons.
