Emily Maynard & Daughter Spend Mother's Day Without 'Bachelor' Brad Womack!

Make up your mind Brad — do you want to be a dad for Emily’s daughter Ricki … or are you just saying so?

So much for Bachelor Brad Womack professing that he’s ready to be a dad and start a family with Emily Maynard. If he really felt that way, then why did Emily and her 5-year-old daughter Ricki Hendrick spend Mother’s Day without Brad in Charlotte?

“Long/FUN day at the golf tournament and now I’m at home watching tv and folding laundry… typical,” Emily tweeted on May 8. “Happy Mothers Day to all of the mommies!” No mention of Brad in sight!

The state of Brad and Emily’s relationship has been in constant question since Emily reportedly broke up with him over the phone in early April. But then last weekend, Brad flew Emily to Austin so they could spend so much needed time together.

At the Austin airport, Emily was pictured giving sad looking Brad a hug goodbye. The way it looked, reports flew that this was the couple’s final goodbye.

But then on May 5, Emily seemingly tried to clear up the questions. “Final hug goodbye?” tweeted Emily. “I know I went on the bachelor but that’s a little too dramatic for even me.”

Still, if Emily and Brad really are trying to work on their future together, shouldn’t they be focusing on becoming a family?

BFFs — do you think Brad should have spent Mother’s Day with Emily and Ricki in Charlotte?

Don’t be ridiculous. Emily is not his mother. He obviously spent Mother’s Day with his mother and wished Emily Happy Mother’s Day via skype or telephone. Emily could have spent the day with her mother (whom she visted at Easter) or with Ricki’s grandmother, if she wished to. I would hope that Ricki’s grandmother (who lives in the same city as Emily) visited on Mother’s day with a gift on behalf of Ricki and shared a drink or two before leaving Emily to fold laundry.

Why would he be there for mother’s day? It is a day for the two of them. Too big of a deal made out of little things. Glad they are taking it slowly and not jumping into things. Maybe they can make it in the long run. If not, oh well, they didn’t know each other very long and cross country relationships are difficult. I wish them well.

MAYBE EMILY DID NOT WANT HIM THERE FOR MOTHERS DAY.
I AM TIRED OF ALL THE CRAP..GET ON OR GET OFF!!
I THINK HE REALLY LOVES HER AND I THINK SHE IS A PIECE OF WORK. SHE NEEDS NOT WORRY ABOUT THE TRUST FUND ..ONE DAY
THEIR MONEY MAY LURE HER DAUGHTER AWAY FROM HER. SHE NEEDS TO GET A MAN IN HER LIFE (IF SHE WANTS ONE) AND RICKI WILL
BE A LUCKY LITTLE GIRL AND MAYBE A BABY BROTHER OR SISTER.
MONEY IS GOOD BUT YOU CAN NOT TAKE IT WITH YA!!!

I finally agree with an article from you. I also think Brad should get his butt in Charlotte for a few weeks until school is out & then they can move to Austin if they are still together. They need time together, not distance. That is probably what most of their problems are right now. I know Brad can’t relocate, which is understood, but taking a couple weeks off to spend with your fiancee and her daughter might be necessary. Surely his brothers (who have families) understand this and would be ok with him not working right now.jmo
