The film made a whopping $66 million domestically and $242 million worldwide, Deadline reports.
Between Chris’ chiseled body and his great chemistry with costar Natalie Portman, we’re not surprised the film made so much dough.

Big opening! Congrats, Thor! Looks like R-Pattz is learning that his Twi-mom and Twi-teen fans aren’t going to be enough to show he can bring home the box office bacon outside of Twilight. (WTF finished 6th this week with 5.6 million.) From the US box office prospective, this movie has not made back its money. Unfortunately for RPattz, if WFE doesn’t clear the 100 million mark in 4 weeks from initial release it’s considered a bomb.
